44th annual Oak Bay Tea Party Parade.

The Tea Party Parade is an Oak Bay tradition. Beginning on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Windsor Park, the parade winds through the streets of Oak Bay, ending at Willows Park about 45 minutes later (see parade map).

Before the parade, at 10:15 a.m., watch the MADHATTER'S FUN RUN along the parade route organized by Rob Reid of FRONTRUNNERS. Better still, take part! Entry forms at FRONTRUNNERS

Trophies will be awarded in the following categories:
Children's Group
Group Entry
Marching Band
Community Float
Commercial Float

 

Winning entries will be announced shortly after the parade during the Opening Ceremonies of the Tea Party at 12:30 p.m. in Willows Park, so please ensure that your entry is represented.

****APPLICATION FORMS and INFORMATION SHEETS available April 3, 2006  at the Oak Bay Municipal Hall, 2167 Oak Bay Avenue. All entries must be submitted by no later than May 19, 2006. Copies of the Entry form and Parade Route Map are available for download, here and here. **** 

There is a $30.00 entry fee for Commercial entries, Community entries no fee. Please enclose a check made out to: Oak Bay Tea Party Society. Thank you, and thanks again to our volunteer parade chairman, RICK HAWES.
